4. What is the difference between independent living and assisted living?
Independent living focuses on lifestyle, convenience, and community.
Assisted living provides additional daily support such as help with bathing, dressing, medication management, and mobility.
5. Are meals provided?
Our residences include a dining plan that serves on-site meal services.
6. Can residents bring their own furniture?
Yes! The properties are fully furnished but residents are encouraged to decorate their space to feel at home.
7. Are pets allowed?
No. Pets are not allowed. Trained service animals are able to live on-site for medical support.
8. What safety features are available?
Common features include secure entrances, emergency call systems, 24/7 camera security, fire safety systems, and regular wellness checks from qualified staff.
9. Is transportation available?
Some communities are able to partner with VA hospitals to coordinate transportation for medical appointments. Public transportation is also nearby.
10. What types of payment are accepted?
The resident's share of their cost of living can be paid via SSI, SSDI, Private Pay, Government Assistance, and/or Community Programs.
11. What is the cost of independent living?
Pricing depends on single or double occupancy, dining meal plan, and availability. A detailed rate sheet can be provided during a tour.
12. Do residents sign a lease?
Yes, leases are per bedspace. Residents are responsible for maintaining the terms of their individual leases.
